Katherine Koala's Superstar Quest is a 2D platformer adventure that focuses on Katherine Koala and Jennifer Koala. It is canon to the TV show, The New Adventures of The Little Koala. It was released on the PS4 and the XBOX ONE on December 6, 2015.
Gameplay[]
This game is where the player can control Katherine and her little sister Jennifer in 6 different places in Australia. The player can control Katherine to do different actions, such as walk, run, jump, crouch, crawl, swim, climb, kick, or punch using the controller's movement input. There are also special maneuvers, such as wall jumping from one wall to another in rapid succession to reach areas that would otherwise be too high. She can also have multiple powers acquired by consuming special items, and there are 6 of them. Players can collect Kangaroo Dolls hidden throughout each level, which can be spent to unlock new special clothing in the Koala Department Store. The player can also use Eucalyptus Branches to spend on other things like The Moon Goddess' Necklace, which turns Katherine and Jennifer into wolves which help them run faster, jump farther, and be more cynical.
Plot[]
Katherine and Jennifer Koala find a stray crystal ball sitting on a stump in Willow Falls while taking a little hike in the forest. It shows that Roobear, Laura, and their friends have been enslaved by the Wicked Wizard and his crew as a way to lose their power. It's up to the sisters to save their cousins and friends throughout Australia. She finds out that they are taking over the country and are planning to kill Katherine and Jennifer.
